The Saco River is great for short excursions that include sunning, swimming and picnicking. Saco Bound to the Pig Farm is exceptional for families, as the length is moderate, 7 miles (2 to 4 hours), with calm water, a wide-open non-obstructed river course with many beaches for swimming and picnicking. They provide children's sized life jackets. Paddling is an easy, fun, sustainable and economical way to spend a day exploring nature. Swim, fish or picnic on the beautiful white sand beaches of the saco and leave all the details to the local river experts, Saco Bound. You can choose between canoeing, kayaking or rive tubing! When you stay with us any day until June 31st, and  Monday through Thursday in July and August, you can enjoy discounted rates (around 20% off) on an unforgettable and fun trip on the Saco River, which includes canoe rental, river briefing and shuttle for a day.
